Why Is Exercise Cool?
Exercise strengthens Muscles
Did you ever do a push-up or swing across the monkey bars at the playground? 小题1:  By using your muscles to do powerful things, you can make them stronger. For older teens and adults, this kind of workout can make muscles bigger, too.
小题2:
Can you touch your toes easily without yelling ouch? Most kids are pretty flexible, which means that they can bend and stretch their bodies without much trouble. Being flexible is having “full range of motion” , which means you can move your arms and legs freely without feeling tightness or pain.
Exercise Keeps the Balance
小题3:  Your body needs a certain amount of calories every day just to function, breathe, walk around, and do all the basic stuff. 小题4:  If you’re not very active, your body won’t need as many calories. Whatever your calorie need is, if you eat enough to meet that need, your body weight will stay about the same. If you eat more calories than your body needs, it may be stored as extra fat.
Exercise Makes You Feel Good
It feels good to have a strong, flexible body that can do all the activities you enjoy---like running, jumping, and playing with your friends. It’s also fun to be good at something, like scoring a basket, hitting a home run, or perfecting a dive.
But you may not know that exercising can actually put you in a better mood. 小题5:  It’s just another reason why exercise is cool!
A.So you want to do some aerobic(有氧的) exercise right now?
B.Food gives your body fuel in the form of calories, which are a kind of energy.
C.When you exercise, your brain releases a chemical, which may make you feel happier.
D.Those are exercises that can build strength.
E. Exercise Makes You Flexible
F. Exercise Makes Your Heart Happy
G. But if you’re active, your body needs an extra measure of calories or energy.

Taking a math test can be pretty stressful. Even if you know the material, you can still get the problem wrong. Knowing how to go through your math test and check your work can save you from handing in a test full of mistakes that can be avoided.   小题1:
Write it out
You can also check a math problem by writing everything out on paper.   小题2:  Writing out math problems reduces your chances of missing anything to the lowest possible level, which is a common cause of incorrect answers.
 小题3:
Make sure your answers work by doing the opposite procedure of what your problem calls for, including the answer you got the first time around. In other words, you would use the opposite of this addition problem—subtraction (减法)—to determine whether or not your answer is the correct one.
Plugging in
You may find that a variable isn’t good enough or have a problem where you have to solve for a variable (变量).   小题4:  This is the only real way to assure yourself that the answer you’ve found is correct.
Check for a reasonable answer
小题5:  For example, if you get an answer in the millions and you know it should be in the thousands, you’ve likely misplaced a point. Go back through the work on your paper to make sure all of your formulas (公式) and calculations are correct. If everything looks okay, do the problem again and compare the result of the second try to what you’ve got on the first try.
A.Do the opposite
B.Correct the answers
C.Therefore you’ll improve your grades, as well as your math skills.
D.Plug the variable in the equation (方程) to check it out.
E. If the result of a problem seems to make no sense, it indicates that the answer is incorrect.
F. It also helps you to figure out everything after you have already finished the test.
G. This helps you to know what information you have and what information you need to solve.
