An ideal is of vital importance to one' s growth and success. Living without an ideal is like sailing without a compass. In an attempt to achieve their ideals, everyone spares no effort to develop their potential.

Nick Vajicic,an Australian, without arms and legs by birth,is the very person I've been admiring. Disabled as he is，being a normal person is what he has been longing for. With the sweet dream in his heart,he tried to learn to swim, to play golf,to walk and dress himself. What amazes and inspires me most is that he is keen on delivering speeches. He has been invited to make lectures all over the world and is regarded as a lecture master. With his encouragement,more disabled are more confident to open up their minds and pursue their dreams actively.

It's evident that Nick's success results from his great ideal, determination and perseverance. It's his ideal that guides and inspires him constantly. As a result,no matter what difficulties are waiting for us on our way to success, only if we stick to our ideals can we pull through and achieve our dreams.
