People attend colleges or universities for a lot of different reasons. I believe there are three most common ones.
Career preparation is becoming more important to young people. They know that the job market is competitive. At college, they can learn new skills for careers with a lot of opportunities.
Also, students go to colleges to have a new experience. This often means having the opportunity to meet people different from those in their hometowns. For most students, this is the first time they’ve been away from home and make decisions on their own.
Besides expanding their knowledge in subjects, people also increase their knowledge of themselves and the world around them.
For me, I think they should go to college to have a new experience and learn about the world they live in.
