Dear Peter,

   I am going to study in London next month. I am writing to ask you to find a host family for me. Here are my requirements.

   First, I’d like to have a room of my own, which is clean and comfortable. Second, the apartment should not be far away from the center of the city. That is to say, it is convenient for me to get around. Third, the family members can speak fluent English and they are warm-hearted and easy-going / hospitable. Thus I can get along well with them and practice my spoken English. In addition, I’d appreciate it if the host family can provide a washing machine and some cookers without additional charges/ free of charge so that I am able to wash my clothes and cook my own meals.
