    5．child-children．考查名词复数．和parents呼应用child的复数children．
    6．meaningful前加more．考查比较级．根据后面的than可知用meaningful的比较级，它是多音节形容词，所以加more．
    7．carrying-carried．考查被动．carry out和主语that（代指先行词）是被动关系，所以用情态动词的被动 can be carried．
    8．you-we．考查代词．和our parents 呼应用we．
    9．an-a．考查冠词．usual虽然以元音字母开头，但是音标是一辅音j开头，所以用a．
    10．which-that．考查强调句式．和It is 呼应，强调through these deeds用that做强调句式，I believe只是插入语．

    在考查短文改错时，常常会考到冠词，冠词主要考查表示特指和泛指时冠词的使用情况．定冠词the的多余或缺失，如季节、月份、星期、球类及三餐活动、称呼头衔前等不能加the的地方加了the，或是same等常和the一起使用的词却漏掉了the；a，an的混用等．
