Tom and Peter are not only neighbours but also good friends. They have much in common. For example, they study in the same school, which is far away from their homes. Both of them work very hard and help each other, and they are both good at maths and English. They both believe only by working hard and taking more exercise can they make greater progress.
However, they are also different from each other in many ways. Tom likes listening to popular songs while Peter prefers classical music. In their spare time, Tom often takes part in all kinds of sports, especially playing basketball, but Peter always enjoys reading in the school library.
