Guangzhou isthe place with millions of friendly people who are really looking forward to meeting gusts from other parts of Asia.With its various cultural treasures and modern facilities, there is no doubt that the metropolis, Guangzhou, will draw the world’s attention　when the 2010 Asian games unfold its curtain in November(November 12^th-27^th, 2010). Guangzhou is the second city to host the Asian Games—the first one, the capital hosted the event in 1990.
As we all know, the theme of the 16^thAsian Games is “Thrilling Games, Harmonious Asia”. Trying our best to show the harmonious idea to the entire Asia is also one of the main guiding principles of preparation works. In order to create a “Green Asian Games”, we are trying our best to make the city not only beautiful but also energy-saving. I believe that Guangzhou will prove to be a city of wonders to the athletes, spectators and all of you. Come on and join in the big ceremony. Guangzhou is right here waiting for you!
