I’m writing to ask you about your view on buying a car. Recently, my parents have been discussing whether to buy one or not. Mother said we can afford to buy a car now. With the car, life would be very convenient, and it is easy for us to go on tours on weekends and holidays. In addition, a lot of families have cars, so buying a car can help one to follow the fashion. However, Father didn’t agree. He insisted it’s too expensive to use a car. Besides, the traffic is very heavy nowadays and parking remains a big problem. What’s more, now we are persuaded to live a low-carbon life.

I agree with Father. I really want to have your advice on how to persuade Mother.
