     From the picture we can see two snails are joking about the cars which are moving very slowly on the
crowded roads. This humorous picture isn’t just to amuse us but actually shows us one of the most
serious problems, that is, heavy traffic.
     But why does this happen? I think several factors contribute to this phenomenon. Firstly, more and
more cars are coming into common families, which causes serious traffic jams. Secondly, with the
population and cars increasing, although the government puts much money on building or repairing roads
every year, the quality of the roads is not satisfactory. What’s worse, some public transportation still
remains unimproved. Thirdly, some people lack awareness of traffic regulations, which is an obstacle to
the flow of traffic.
     In my opinion, the number of private cars should be put under control. Meanwhile, the government
should take some measures to improve some public transportation. What’s more, people must obey
traffic regulations strictly. Only when our whole society work together to solve all theses problems can
we speed up the flow of traffic in the cities.
