Life is full of various experiences, of them some are unforgettable. I still remember the hiking experience with my classmates for 16 km a year later. That summer day, we set off early in the morning, think it would be great fun to walk for so long a distance. However, with the weather is getting hotter and hotter, I found their legs heavier and heavier. What's worse, my feet began bleeding because long time pressing against the shoes. At one point, I even wanted to give in. But I managed to drag the rest of the way to the destination.
Though not pleasant, this journey was impressive or rewarding. I learnt that life is the long journey like this. No matter what happened, we should never give up, and we will finally achieve what we want to.

Dear Linda,
How is everything going with you? I've returned back to Shanghai tiredly but happy. I can't thank you enough for all the kindness you offered during my stay in New Zealand.
When I first go there, I found hard to use English properly. It was you who always help me with patient. Now I have made such great progress that I can speak English more fluently. I even have a large vocabulary than before. I am not scared of English any more.
When I was homesick, you kept me company, chatting, playing games or showed me around the scenic spots. You made me felt as if I was one of your family members. There are so much wonderful memories fresh in my mind.
In addition, please remember me to your parents.
Best wishes.
Yours,
Yu Lei

I like travelling very much. They are wonderful adventures filled with new sights and experiences. And my wife and I have another trip in the planning stages£®
We're home now and have settled back into our daily routine of life. I find that when I am at home, particularly for a while when we have just returned from a trip, I feel very comfortable. Perhaps it is because everything around me is familiar and the daily routine is so much the same and I can move through it almost without thinking.Perhaps it is because we can have meals at home instead of always being in restaurants, although it's nice to let someone else do the cooking, and because I can sleep in my own bed. There are times I think it would be nice to simply stop travelling and stay home£®
Yet I guess I am probably a restless soul because I know that after I have been home for a while I will start to think about other places we might go and other things we want to see. We will travel again and we feel fortunate to be able to do so. Still, one of the best things about travelling for me is coming home. I'm very comfortable here at home even if it is difficult to say exactly why£®
A. I enjoy local food while travelling£®
B. I like being home£¬for whatever reason£®
C. Perhaps it is because our friends are here£®
D. And I enjoy my daily life at home so much£®
E. It's lucky that my wife and I both love travelling.
F. The world is filled with people who are travelholic£®
G. I have been fortunate enough to make trips to many countries.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Many people go to school for an education. They learn languages, history, geography, physics, chemistry and mathematics. Others go to school to learn a skill so that they can make a living. School education is very important and useful. Yet no one can learn everything they want to know. The teacher¡¯s job is to show his students how to learn. He teaches them how to read and how to think. So, much more is to be learned outside school by the students themselves.
It is always more important to know how to study by oneself than to memorize some facts or a formula (¹«Ê½). It is usually quite easy to learn a certain fact in history or a formula in mathematics. But it is very difficult to use a formula in working out a maths problem. Great scientists, such as Einstein, Newton and Galileo didn¡¯t get anything from school. But they were all so successful. They invented so many things for mankind.
The reason for their success is that they knew how to study. They read books that were not taught at school. They worked hard all their lives, wasting not a single moment. They would ask many questions as they read and they did thousands of experiments.
Above all, they knew how to use their brains.
