During his term, he promote the development of the Olympic Games but rescued the organization from the financial crisis in the 1970s. The old man did a lot of works to help China to succeed in hold the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In April 21, 2010, Samaranch died of heart attack in Barcelona, Spain, which he was born.
