    1．Happy Shakespeare Day!The 23rd April is World Book Day，but did you know that it is also Shakespeare Day？Everybody has heard of Shakespeare，but do you know many plays he wrote？Have you hear of many of his poetry？

    Shakespeare's comedies include Much Ado About Nothing，A Midsummer Night's Dream and Twelfth Night．Twelfth Night is a play about confusing identities．Two twins are shipwrecked and the sister，Viola，dresses up as her brother，Sebastian，who she thinks is dead．It's hilarious，because the brother reappears without Viola realizing and there's a big love triangle going on：Viola is in love with the Duke Osino，who is in love with Olivia，who falls in love with Sebastian，except she doesn't realize that Sebastian is actually Viola dressed up!Everybody falls in love with the wrong person，but it is all made right in the end．
    The history plays，such as Antony and Cleopatra，Richard III and Henry V are based on the lives of real historical people．Antony and Cleopatra is a story about a doomed romance in ancient Egypt．Cleopatra becomes Antony's mistress and Antony becomes so obsessed with her that he loses his military might．Cleopatra kills self by letting a snake bite her after Egypt's army has been defeated by Octavius and Antony kills himself too．
    Shakespeare's plays can be very heavy going sometimes．Some of the themes they deal with are heavy and complex，so they almost always contain a lighter subplot with characters who aren't closely linked to the characters in the main plot．They are often used in tragedies to lighten the mood of the play and to keep the audience interested in the main plot．

    The 3-year-old was at the library with his mother when he was kidnapped by 23-year-old Alfonso David Edington．On learning of the boy's kidnapping，officers and library officials responded without hesitation and closed the library to incoming and outgoing traffic，while putting all authorities and public transit drivers on alert（警觉） to keep a look out for a young boy wearing plaid shorts and red shoes，and the suspected kidnapper，wearing a black hoodie（连帽衫）．
    About an hour after the kidnapping，Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority bus driver Tim Watson noticed a crying young boy on his bus，who happened to be sitting next to a man wearing a black hoodie．Not wanting to raise suspicion，the quick thinking Watson pulled the bus over and pretended to check the aisles（通道）for a missing green backpack．
    "What I'm really trying to do is to get up without him knowing to look at the little boy．So sure enough，I see the plaid shorts and red shoes．That's what really stuck out in my mind，"Watson said．
    After returning to his seat，Watson radioed police to tell them that he'd found the kidnapped boy，and that he would be stopping the bus at the Fremont train station-about 12miles from where the child was kidnapped．
    When Edington went to disembark with the child in tow，Watson wanted to give the police enough time to get into position．"The bus driver is a hero，an absolute hero，"Milpitas Police Chief Steve Pangelinan said that Watson's sharp eye and quick thinking saved the boy from his kidnapper．
    The child was reunited with his emotional parents at the Milpitas Police Station，and as for the hero bus dirver，he just wanted to get home to hug his own kids．Thanks to the quick thinking Tim Watson，who saved the boy from his kidnapper，both he and the boy's parents will be hugging their children just a little bit tighter from now on．
