    　　W: They control the water temperature for the wash and rinse. Look, if you want a hot wash and a warm rinse, you press the first button down like this. But if you prefer a warm wash and a cold rinse, you press the middle button down. And sometimes you might want a cold wash and a cold rinse …

    　　M: So I press the button on the right.

    　　W: That's right. It's easy.

    　　M: Now, what about this large knob on the right?

    　　W: That's speed and cycle control.

    　　M: Could you tell me how that works?

    　　W: Yes. All you have to do is to decide if you want to give the clothes a regular wash, a light wash, or a super wash.

    　　M: That's for extra-dirty clothes?

    　　W: That's right. You turn the knob to the cycle you have chosen. Look … it's clearly marked … and pull the knob out to start the program.
