       We are faced with serious traffic problem in our city．That is , all day long, especially during the rush hours, roads are busy, cars and buses always get stuck in the traffic jams．

       Many factors contribute to the phenomenon．The leading one is the increasing number of cars, but we can’t ignore the fact that the road conditions are extremely terrible．Still more, the citizens are not paying much attention to the traffic regulations．

       Some measures must be taken to solve the problems．First, the government should build large car parks outside the city so that people can take buses, in which case, the number of cars in the city center will be limited. Besides, the underground system should be developed to transport people from place to place．In addition, roads should be widened and divided into several lanes．Last, all the citizens, drivers as well as cyclists and pedestrians should not break the traffic rules．
