Dear Toney,
I’m glad to tell you that I attended a visit organized by the International Travel Agency. We went to Beijing by train from our hometown and ten hours later we arrived at Tian’an Men Square where we watched the soldiers raising the flags. After breakfast, we visited the Place Museum where we were attracted by the beauty and greatness of all the buildings and their wonderful designs.
Later, we paid a visit to some Olympic buildings and stadiums, such as the Birds’ Nest, the Water Cube and so on. On the last day, we came to the Great Wall which is famous all over the world. I felt very proud when I climbed up to the top of the Great Wall. And only then did I understand the famous saying : “ He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man.” Later we flew back home that night.
I enjoyed the visit very much and I think it is well worth visiting again. I wish you could have the chance to come here for a visit , too.
