Dear the Students’ Union,

I have learnt that you need five volunteer English teachers. I’d like to be one of them, so I’m writing to apply for the job.

My name is Li Hua, a member of the Loving Heart Club in our school, and I have a good command of English. I think I’m fit for the job well, because I have worked as an English tutor before, which will help me do the job better.

As far as I’m concerned, being a volunteer teacher is helpful to improve my understanding of the world. Besides, by helping others, I can make a small contribution to society.
