Dear Sir,

It is nice learning that 16 students from the States will come to my school on a culture exchange programme. My family would like to be one of the 16 host families to have an American student. Firstly, my father and my mother both work as teachers in universities. It is lucky that we can all speak English, and we’d like to share some culture exchange experience in English.

Secondly, we live about 6 kilometers away from my school, and we can get to and from school by bus or subway.

What’s more, we have a spare bedroom in the family with a washroom and a shower. And the American student can communicate with his family in the USA online. By the way, my mom is so good at Chinese cookery. I believe my guest will enjoy his stay here.
