I can't wait to tell you some good news.On January 11,our class held a speech contest with the theme of Learn to Be Thankful.All of us were so interested in it that we took an active part in it.
In the beginning,our head teacher delivered an opening speech,appealing to all of us to be thankful.After that,many participants impressed us with their wonderful performance.What touched me most was that some of my classmates told us their own life stories.They expressed their love and appreciation for their parents,teachers and people who loved them.
I learned a lot from this activity.There are many people around us who have helped us greatly.We should be grateful to them in return for what they have done for us.
