Trust has been considered as the basis of any relationship, including friendship. No relationship can last long with a lack of trust. Not many of your friends will have real faith in you as you would like to believe. 小题1:  . Sometimes, it takes years, even a complete lifetime, to trust someone. However, how do we know if our friends have faith in us?
小题2:   . With whom will you share things that you don’t want everyone to know? It would be with a close friend, whom you trust as much as you trust yourself. While a few of your friends may be fiercely protective of their privacy and may not tell their secrets to anyone, those who do, surely find you trustworthy and reliable.
Whom do you look up to for advice when you need it the most? It has to be either your parents or your friends.  小题3:   . This is a shining example of trust. You only seek advice from people you hold in high regard and find dependable. The friends who trust you will never forget to include you in the important decisions of their life.
Arguments and heated discussions are a part of every relationship, and this is also true for friendship.    小题4:     . While some people find it difficult to forgive and forget, your friends will never have problems moving on. It is because they trust you and believe that you will never cause any pain to them on purpose.
There are times in life when you find yourself a lonely soldier.    小题5:    . Your friends will never let you down and will strongly stand for you when you need encouragement. You can determine that they trust you and believe in your beliefs, if they side with you when you need them the most. People can be extraordinarily jealous(猜疑的) sometimes.
A.You know they will never pass on a wrong suggestion.
B.In fact, winning trust is, by far, the most challenging aspect of relationships.
C.Two people cannot have identical reactions to a situation and different opinions do exist.
D.No matter how close you are to your friends, you cannot take that comfort level for granted.
E.If your friends share their secrets, there’s a good possibility that they have much faith in you.
F.However, people who are fortunate to have been blessed with true friends are never alone in any battle.

小题1:B
小题2:E
小题3:A

小题1:B 根据下句sometime,it takes years , even a complete lifetime to trust someone. In fact , winning trust is the most challenging aspect of relationships
小题2:E 由下句with whom will you。。。。as much as you trust yourself。 E,If your friends share their secrets , there’s a
It has to be either your parents or your friends 可知下文仍然要讲述的是家人朋友,而A选项中的they 恰好和 your parents or your friends 相呼应,所以A选项正确。
小题4:C上句Arguments and heated 。。。。
小题5:F 上句there are 。。 说的是自己的孤独无依,而下句your friends will never let 。。。

Ryan Howes, a clinical psychologist from California, says "Forgiveness is a sensitive act that can feel like it opens us up to more pain. But we need to have a way to process and let go of the effects of injury, or we risk serious physical and emotional consequences."
People who forgive tend to have better relationships, feel happier and more optimistic, and overall, enjoy better psychological well-being.  小题1:  It's a difficult process.
There's no single guidebook for forgiveness, though several experts sell their own methods.
Howes suggests focusing on four elements:
Express the emotion. Let yourself feel hurt and angry. Express it to the person who made you feel that way.  小题2:  Write a letter; you don't need to send it. Shout your emotions at the top of your lungs while you're in the car, alone, with the windows down.
__小题3: We want explanations ?even if we don't agree with them. "Was it a misunderstanding? Were you mad at me? Some sort of cognitive framework (认知框架) is necessary, even if you don't like the reason."
Rebuild safety.小题4:  That might mean an apology, reassurance from the person in question, distance or stronger boundaries.
Let go. Perhaps it's the hardest part: making a conscious decision not to hold a grudge (怨恨).
If you're in a relationship, this means not bringing up past wrongs. By letting go, you give up
your role as the victim and become equals again.
A.Otherwise, talk to a friend or even an empty chair.
B.Control your feelings
C.Understand why
D.Before you forgive, you need to feel reasonably sure that the act won't reoccur
E.Still, no one ever said forgiveness was easy
F.It's a promise to yourself to stop feeling hurt and to fully move on
G.You may feel helpless, or like life is meaningless

[1]A program in the United States brings scientists and engineers into elementary schools to teach teachers more about how to teach science.
[2]Dave Weiss is a retired engineer. One day each week he volunteers at Georgian Forest Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland, near Washington. He works with teacher Fred Tenyke on science projects for ten years and gets as much pleasure from helping the teachers as he does helping the students.
[3]Student Jada Lockwood says she enjoys Mr. Weiss' visits to her classroom. She likes the drawings he uses to explain scientific ideas.
[4]The American Association for the Advancement of Science sponsors the Senior Scientists and Engineers program. Dave Weiss has been a volunteer in that program for many years. The scientists and engineers help teachers in elementary schools improve their skills.
[5]Mr. Weiss says he and the other volunteers help teachers by providing hands-on knowledge. He notes that science is an area in which many elementary school teachers have _________experience.In elementary school, for the most part, a regular classroom teacher is responsible for teaching science, along with reading and math, and if they don't have a strong science background, just by nature, they're going to tend to underrepresent science in the curriculum.
[6]American fifteen-year-olds scored about average in science among countries that took part in testing by the OECD in 2009. The OECD is the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
[7]Dave Weiss says he is concerned about such results, but hopeful for the future for American students learning science. Fred Tenkye thinks volunteers like Dave Weiss are helping students do that. "And if you can develop a passion for science, then eventually the grades and the test scores, then that will follow and increase, too." he said.

One day, I was cooking in the kitchen as the telephone rings. I went to answer it immediately. She was my close friend, Lisa. When we were talking on a phone, the fire alarm sounded. I ran back to the kitchen. The room full of smoke and the beef was badly burnt. I quickly turned off the gases, opening all the window, and then went out of the house. In my surprise, two fire engines were outside my house. I was rather worried. I told about the firemen that it was my careless cooking which caused the heavy smoke.
