Dear Mr. Li,
I'm very sorry to have missed the first two lesson this morning. I got up early as usually in the morning,
but when I was ready to leave I find my bicycle's front tyre£¨ÂÖÌ¥£©flat. I wanted to take bus or taxi to
school, and I didn't have any money with me. I had to look for a place along the street to get my bicycle
repairing. Unluckily, there were not any bicycle repair shops were open in the early morning. So I had to
walk to school, carrying my bicycle all the way. That's how I was late for school.
Please don't worry with my lessons, Mr. Li. I will make up for it and turn to teachers for help if necessary.

Helen is one of my best friend. She had taught us English when I attended a training
class two years before. Helen always made good preparations for the lessons, but she
tried her best to make his class lively. I used to being poor in English, especially in
writing English. But now I'm able to write E nglish letters and reports correct. I still
remember how she helped me for my English patiently. Teacher's Day's coming. I'm
going to send to her a card and give her my best wishes.

Welcome to the Polynesian Cultural Centre! You are entering a world of funs! My name is called Tera,
a Polynesian name which mean "the sun". I'm very glad you can come today and learn about some of the
amazing Polynesian way. As you can see, here behind myself is one of their boats. To build a boat like this,
you needed a very tall, straight tree. You first cut down the tree and remove the branch. Then you cut the
tree in half so you have two long pieces of woods. You use one piece to make the boat. Remove the inside
for a person to sit. Take the bark off the outside of the boat and puts oil on it so it will easily go through
the sea. Some Polynesian boats have sails.

It was my birthday last Friday. I invite some friends to have dinner with me m one ot my favorite
restaurants. It was complete full when we went in, so we had to wait. Luckily, after what seemed ten
minutes, a group of tourist at a comer table got up and left off. As we sat down at the table, I noticed
a larger brown envelope on one of the chairs. I picked up. It felt very heavy. Probably it were full of
important papers. I handed the envelope to one of the waiters. They hurried down the street after the
tourists but managed to catch up with them before they were disappeared.
