Very glad to have received your letter. Now I’ll tell you about students’ taking the part-time jobs in Britain.  High school students in Britain, only when reaching 15 years old, are permitted to take part-time jobs. And it is a strict rule that they have to work for at most three hours per day and to stop before 19:00p.m. The total number of hours that they work for is limitted within 18 hours in a week.

When talking about part-time jobs, I strongly believe that we, high school students, can develop many basic skills from it, learning how to fill tables, interview face to face, communicate each other and so on. What’s more, by taking certain part-time jobs, we can get an opportunity to strengthen our sense of independence and self-confidence as well as learn how to spend our pocket money properly. Finally and the most importantly, with such valuable experience, we are expected to do better in our studies and promote our responsibilities.

With so many benefits, taking part-time jobs, therefore, is becoming extremely popular with students in Britain. Why don’t you have a try?
