     Nowadays, human beings are faced with an embarrassing situation.
     In the cartoon, we can see a man talking to a paper bird kept in his cage and beside him is a vast desert
dotted with endless tree roots. Obviously, birds have lost their homes as people have cut down all the trees.
As a result, humans have lost their animal friends.
     The scene may seem ridiculous and unbelievable to us, but it may become a reality in the future if we go
on developing economy regardless of the damage caused to the environment. Now in some places, trees have
been cut down without limits. Some scientists say that there will be no vast forests in 20 or 30 years and many
species will die out. It is really a terrible thing.
     Therefore, we should realize the importance of environmental protection and live in harmony with our
animal friends.
