Was she dead？Would she grow？Each day，with more and more branches lacking needles，our hopes flagged．After three years of drought，there was a new day for our gardens and our little tree．One day，my husband and daughter shouted at me．

I hurried into the back yard．Hardly daring to hope，I searched，as my daughter gently guided my eyes to the tips of each tiny branch．There they were!We
