Among the most looked-forward-to holidays by children is Three Kings Day. This celebration takes place on January 6. On this day, children, parents and friends get together in the evening and have a cup of hot chocolate with a rosea de reyes (Three King's Bread). On the 17th of March every year, Ireland celebrates a special day called Saint Patrick's Day.

There are a lot of floats (花车)going through the streets with people on them playing Irish music and doing Irish dancing. Lots of people dress up for a day at the parade or at home. In the evening people go to the pub to listen to Irish music and drink Guinness. There is also a huge firework display on the river which thousands of people go to watch.

Saint Patrick's Day is a great festival and people that have never seen it should go to Ireland to see it.

Semana Santa ： Easter Celebration in Spain

Semana Santa is celebrated all over Spain. Years ago, it was just a religious celebration. Women and men wore black clothing, the men always with a black tie, and everybody was very serious. Today, however, many people who enjoy it also think about having fun.

During this week, religious images are displayed in the streets. These images are made of gold and silver. Forty or fifty men carry each image on their shoulders, always at night.

Many visitors from all over the world come to Spain for Semana Santa and en?joy this celebration.
