Playing the violin was once one of my dream．Because of lack of practice and playing skills，I did it very bad in the beginning and was often laughing at by other students．Gradually，I lost confidence to myself and wanted to give up．But my teacher told me．“Nothing was easy．Struggle is a vital part of our life．”Heard that，I pushed myself harder and began making a rapid progress．Eventually，I won the first place in a violin competition．
From his experience．I’ve learned a lesson that it is struggle which leads us to success．As long as we don’t give up and learn from our mistakes，we are sure overcome whatever difficulties we’re faced with．

Several days before, a few of my friend and I went on a picnic on the beach of the Jialing River. It is about five miles far from the city. We arrived that place in the morning. As summer vacation are coming soon, my classmates are trying very hardly to get train tickets to go home. But I have made up my minds to spend the vacation far from home for first time in my life. My parents have agreed to visiting me, and I will have a different vacation. When they came here, I will show them around my university and the city just as well. I have decided to buy them some nice gifts. It will be a big surprising for them. My parents have done a lot for me, but I think it is high time that I did anything special to express my thanks.
