Learn to think with your eyes and ears.

Most people see but few people know how to observe. The difference between seeing and observing is like the difference between reading and studying. The same goes with listening. It only requires ears to hear, but it often takes awareness and thought to listen. One factor in helping you to listen better is to hear not only what people say but what they don't say. 【3】 All these play an effective role in helping you to think with your eyes and ears.

The people who learn to make the best life adjustments cultivate the habit of going with the flow. For example, they refuse to sweat the small stuff, they remain flexible to life changes. The best way to do that is to trust your instincts (直觉). The more you do that the more they will work for you. Be prepared for changes, challenges and choices.

If span>you can keep an attitude of preparation you'll have the best chance of making effective life adjustments. What kind? The kind that can see you through problems, setbacks and challenges. As the saying goes, “ 【5】 ”. That's the best advice for anyone who wants to make the best life adjustments and win!

I would like to suggest that there may be some reasons for their problems with spoken English.

First, they fail to find suitable words to express themselves due to a limited vocabulary.

【2】However, you can speak with a limited vocabulary, if you choose a positive attitude. Others will follow you as long as you use the words that you know.

Sometimes they make mistakes when they are speaking because they are shy and nervous. Yet students should remember that their goal should be FLUENCY NOT ACCURACY. Your aim in writing is to be accurate following the rules for grammar and using the right words and spelling them correctly. However, in speaking your aim is fluency. You want to get your message across, to talk to someone in English, as quickly and as well as you can, even though sometimes you may use a wrong word or tense , but it doesn’t matter.【4】

The third reason is that not enough attention is paid to listening . You have one mouth but two ears !All that hearing is necessary for you to start speaking .

Fourth, most Chinese students are reactive rather than proactive language learners. Instead of actively seeking out opportunities to improve their spoken English they passively wait for speaking opportunities to come to them and wonder why their English always remains poor.【5】

A. The person you are speaking to will understand you and make allowances for nay mistakes he hears.

B. They may try to avoid making similar mistakes next time.

C. Obviously the better answer is to expand their vocabulary.

On December 10th last year, we paid a visit to a high-tech agricultural garden. It took us one and a half hour to get there. The naturally environment there was very pleased, and we could breathe fresh air. The intelligent glass greenhouse, where many kinds of fruits and vegetables were growing there, was really amazing. Because it was very cold outside, the greenhouse controlling by a computer could provide a proper temperature. That was also very interesting to see so many colorful fruits and vegetables in the greenhouse which we have never seen before. Luckily, we allowed to taste some of the fruits and vegetables. We really had a good time and learned a lot over the visit.

A person who is lying to you won’t make eye contact with you or they make too much eye contact. If a person is lying they may feel you are watching him and he will look down at the floor or away from your eyes. Some people try to stare you in the face deliberately. 【2】

3.Unnatural Body Language.

Liars often feel uneasy, turn away from the person to whom they are speaking, blink(眨眼) rapidly, smile less and have pitch changes in their tone of voice. They could touch parts of their face, an ear or a nose or play with keys or another item that they have in their hand.
