You don’t need every word to understand the meaning of what you read．In fact, too much emphasis on separate words both and reduces your comprehension．
First, any habit which slows down your silent reading to the speed at which you speak, or read aloud, is inefficient．If you point to each word as you read, or move your head, or form the words with your lips, you read poorly．Less obvious habits also hold back reading efficiency．One is “saying” each word silently by moving your tongue or throat; another is “hearing” each word as you read．

Scientists guess that 80% of a person’s weight gain comes from genetics and 20% comes from the person’s environment. Fidgeting actually uses a lot of energy over a day and his energy usually comes from burning fat.
In one experiment about weight gain, researchers wanted to see how much energy different people used when they were resting. People in the experiment were asked to lie on a bed and not move for 40 minutes. Researchers then measured the energy the person used for breathing. They found that different people in the study used very different amounts of energy for this one job, breathing. Researchers calculated that some people in the study burned 1,067 calories per day while others burned up to 3,015 calories. Those people who burn fewer calories doing normal work or exercise have a slow metabolism（新陈代谢）.

"But it's hard, considering I drive a big truck. I also try to get a lift from my friends when they are going places that I am going." said Stephen.
Some try not to accelerate too much.
Teenagers will have to continue changing their lifestyles unless the price of gas decreases. However, that might not be a bad thing.
