This former duck-hunting reserve of theMaharajas is one of the major wintering areas for large numbers of aquaticbirds from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, China and Siberia. Some 364 species ofbirds, including the rare Siberian crane, have been recorded in the park.

D. Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi

This tomb, built in 1570, is of particularcultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indiansubcontinent.
