If you like to break things when you are unhappy, the Nanjing Zhonghua Middle School is the school for you. This term, Nanjing Honghua Midlde School will build a "stress wall" to help students who feel unhappy because of schoolwork or for
other reasons.
Tao Dehua, a leader at the school said the idea of a stress wall started when
footprints were found on some newly painted walls and some school windows were
broken.
"These things happen because some students feel lots of pressure from their
studies or because they don't get along well with other students. When under stress,
the body get ready to either run or fight and becomes very nervous. Hitting the wall
can help relax the body and take away stress," Tao said.
"Tests and homework make me Sad," said Lu Yan, a junior girl."I can't wait to
hit the wall. It will help me a lot with my problems."     
Another girl student who wouldn't give her name said that the wall won't help.
"Mainly because it can't talk," she said. "I need to talk to someone when I'm sad."

There is a growing debate about the most effective way for students to study.  Traditionally studying alone was thought to be the best way to ensure good exam results. When studying alone you can focus your mind better than when you are with others. You also have the freedom to choose what topic to study and when, as you don't need file agreement of others. Students that prefer to study alone often say that when they study with their classmates they waste a lot of time because the discussion is often about non-study topics such as television or holidays.

 In the last few years, however, more and more students have started studying in groups. There are several reasons many students prefer this method. First, they find that studying is more fun as they can share the experience with others rather than staying in their rooms.  In groups, they can discuss the subject together and when something is not understood they can ask each other questions. They can use the knowledge of their classmates to help improve their own knowledge.  Finally by discussing the topic they are able to both understand and remember it better.

I have know Li Yong, my friend, since my childhood and we have been studying in the same class of the same middle school, so we have been together almost every day and have built up very close friendship.

Li Yong actually used to be a good example for me to follow because be was a top student in study and got along very well with us fellow classmates. He was once responsible, active, positive and s army guy street with himself, so both teachers and classmates thought well of him. However, 3 months ago, everything changed. He often came late for class. When at class, be often did something that had mouthing to do with study. Last week, he even fought with a student of another class over a very small thing, which had a very bad influence on our class. He let us all a little bit down!

But this afternoon, when school was over, he was alone in the classroom, writing something with a knife on his desk. Coming closer to him I found carved on the desk were the words: “For my class, I must change! Action speaks louder than words.” From these words I could read his determined mind, which make me moved, while at the same time, it seemed as if the desk were crying and wanted to say something to him because of the carving.

I’m writing to ask you for help. It’s really urgent because I’m considering running away from home. I feel like there's no way to fix the problem with my mother.

Yesterday evening, we had a heated argument at home after I got home a bit late again.

I had been at my friend’s birthday party. I explained it to her but she just didn’t believe me.

I do know my mother loves me very much and she wants me around every day, or even every minute.

But the fact is that I am 17 years and have my own life style. I am my parents’ only child and my mother says she wants me to have the best possible chance of happiness in the future. She is always telling me to behave well when I leave home or go out. What’s worse, whenever there is a cold war between my mother and me, my father often keeps silent. I am not only confused but also hurt. I don't know what to say or what to do to make things right. I think they are out of fashion and too old to know my inner part.

To tell the truth, I have packed up my backpack but am still at a loss.
