Mr White began to work in a middle school when he was twenty-three. He has worked there for forty years. At the beginning he taught his students English. He worked hard and was strict in everything. And he took good care of others and all the other teachers and his students liked him very much. Twelve years ago he was appointed(被任命)as headmaster and he worked even harder.
Forty years ago there were fifteen classes and nearly five hundred students and forty-seven teachers in the school. But now there're one thousand two hundred students and one hundred and twenty teachers. Mr White thinks it necessary(必要) for the teachers to remember all their students' names.
