It’s very kind of you to write me and let me know about your beautiful city Vancouver. Now I’d like to tell you something about my hometown Shaoguan.

Located in the north of Guangdong province, my hometown is rich in natural resources. With many tourist attractions, it is a right place for people to travel as well as live in. New houses, shopping malls and roads have been built confirming that our economy has been developing rapidly in the past ten years. However, there are still some problems, such as water, air and noise pollution and heavy traffic in rush hours. In my opinion, what Shaoguan should do is to develop scientifically. I would also think that the growth of its housing construction should be brought under control so that we’ll have a better hometown in future.
