           This morning，I was walking to the City library when I saw a heavy smoke rising form one of the houses．Fire! I immediately ran to the telephone box and dialed 199．In less than live minutes，the firemen arrived，and started to put out the fire．Meanwhile，we heard someone crying for help from inside．

    Soon long ladders were placed against the walls and the firemen helped the children out of the fire，and I helped to send them to places of safety．

    Thanks to the firemen，the fire was put out it half an hour and nobody was seriously hurt．
