Recently we have had a heated discussion on whether people should keep dogs at home. 60 percent of the students think it’s a good idea to keep dogs because many old people who live alone at home can get some comfort from their dogs. Besides, getting along well with animals will make our life more interesting.
On the other hand, 40 percent of the students are against the idea. In their opinion, if too many people keep dogs at home, it will do bad to the environment. What is worse, dogs may make too much noise and even attack people. I like animals, and I don’t think it’s bad to keep dogs at home.
