Jack lives in a farm. Every day he works on the farm with his father. When he rests, he often sits under the tree and looks at the hill in the distance(在远处). On the hill there is a big house. It has glittering(闪闪发光的) golden windows. Jack hopes to have a chance(机会) to see the house on the hill.
One day, his father says to him, “The family on the hilltop ordered (预定) two bags of com from us, send them to that family tomorrow." Jack is very happy. Next morning, he gets up early. After breakfast, he starts to go with two bags of com. It takes him a long time to go to the hill. When he reaches there, it's noon. There is a house standing on the hilltop. But Jack doesn't see the golden windows. He feels upset(失望). At this time, a woman walks out. She looks at Jack friendly. "I just come here to bring corn. By the way(顺便问- -下), I can't find the house with golden windows. Do you know where it is?" says Jack. The woman shakes her head and laughs, "There is only one house on the hilltop. It's my house. My windows are made of(由..制成) glass. They are not golden. But I know such a house." "Really? Where?" Jack asks. The woman points to the house in the distance. "Look, that is a house with golden windows!"" says the woman. Jack looks at that house and says, "It's my house!".
Jack soon understands everything. The sunlight makes the windows shine like gold(金色的). He lives in his dream home, the home with beautiful golden windows!
