驴子和骡子
有一个赶车的人，赶着一头驴子和一头骡（luó）子动身出门去了。驴子和骡子都驮（tuó）着重东西。
驴子起初在平地上还能稳稳当当地走；可是到了一座大山脚下，要走上陡（dǒu）坡，就觉得有点儿受不了了。他要求骡子代他担负一小部分，好让他把大部分东西驮到家里。可是骡子不答应。
不久，他们走到一个荒僻的地方，驴子驮得筋疲力尽，一交摔倒，登时就死了。赶大车的无法可想，只好把原来归驴子驮的东西都加在骡子身上，连剥下来的一张驴皮也放了上去。
骡子驮着这么多的东西，一边叹气一边对自己说：“唉，真是活该!当初驴子要我帮他一点儿忙，要是我答应了，现在也不至于除了驮上他驮过的东西之外，还得驮他的臭皮囊（náng）了。”
