Foreign students often learn British English, come to the USA, and cannot understand any American English! So you must ask yourself—where do I want to go in the future – America or England? If it is England, you should learn British English. But if you want to study in America, try learning as much true American English as possible. Watch American movies, listen to American songs, read books written in American English, and talk with an American accent (口音) — not a British one!
