    We went on a school trip today. We visited the Qianlong Lake and it was great fun. All of our classmates met at the school gate at 7: 00 a.m. and went to the lake by bus. When we arrived there, we were given a warm welcome by the workers. Then one of the workers showed us around the lake, where we learned a lot about the place of interest.

    At noon, we had a picnic, during which we enjoyed ourselves in the sunshine, singing, dancing and rowing the boats. We did love the fresh air and the beauty of nature. We took lots of pictures.

    Time flied! It was time for us to leave though we didn't want to. It was really an unforgettable and meaningful trip for us.
