Bike ，don't ride to school

Do you go to school by bus or by bike? If you bike, you are doing something for the Earth. Buses, cars,trains and planes produce a lot of carbon dioxide. If you live near to your school, why not bike there on warm spring mornings? 2

Wash the green way

Do you help your mom and dad wash clothes? Then wash them in an energy-saving way. When you wash clothes, wash them in cold or warm water to save energy ， but not hot water. Wash your clothes when they fill up the machine. 3 Some new ones use as less as one-fourth of the energy of older machines.

When the clothes are clean, dry them in the natural way, by hanging them on a line rather than (而不是)putting them in a dryer.

 4 For example ， you can use it to clean the floor,water flowers, trees and so on. In all,you can cut the carbon dioxide used in washing by 90 percent.

5 If everyone pays attention to protecting the environment from himself,our earth will become more beautiful.
