Dear Major,
We have had a discussion about whether to let off fireworks at Spring Festival. All the students in our class give the ideas.
¡¾´ð°¸¡¿Most of the students don¡¯t agree to let off fireworks at Spring Festival. They think fireworks produce so much smoke that it can cause serious air pollution. What¡¯s more, people like letting them off at midnight, it is always so noisy outside that many people can¡¯t sleep well. Also, it may cause big fire if people aren¡¯t careful enough. Some children like playing with fireworks, so it¡¯s dangerous for their eyes. If we don¡¯t let off fireworks, cleaners don¡¯t need to clean up so much rubbish everywhere.
On the other hand, some students don¡¯t agree. They think Chinese people have been used to letting off fireworks since hundreds years ago. Moreover, Chinese traditional culture is missing. We should protect it. People will feel less interested than before without fireworks.
I think we should follow the rule because good environment is more important than anything else. Protecting environment is protecting ourselves.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿One of the problems with passwords is that users forget them. In order to remember them, people use simple things like their dog¡¯s name, their birth date, or the name of the current month-anything that will give them a clue to remember what their password is.
For the curious hacker (ºÚ¿Í) who has gained access to your online account, this is the same as locking your door and leaving the key under the doormat (Ãŵæ).
To create a safe password that is easy to remember, follow these simple steps:
¡ñ You should never use personal information as part of your password. It is very easy for someone to guess things like your last name, pet¡¯s name, child¡¯s birth date and other similar details.
¡ñ There are tools available to help attackers guess your password. With today¡¯s computing power, it doesn¡¯t take long to try every word in the dictionary and find your password, so it is best if you do not use real words for your password.
¡ñ You can make a password much safer by mixing different types of characters. Use some uppercase letters (´óд×Öĸ) along with lowercase letters (Сд×Öĸ), numbers and even special characters such as ¡°&¡± or ¡°%¡±.
¡ñ Rather than trying to remember a password that is created using various character types and is not a word from the dictionary, you can use a ¡°passphrase¡±. Think of a sentence or a line from a song or poem that you like and create a password using the first letter from each word.
For example, rather than just having a password like ¡°yr $ 1 Hes¡±, you could take a sentence such as ¡°I like to read the About. Com Internet network security website¡± and convert it to a password like ¡°il2rtA! nsws¡± by using the number ¡°2¡± for the word ¡°to¡± and using an exclamation point (¸Ð̾ºÅ) in place of the ¡°I¡± for ¡°Internet¡±. You can use a variety of character types and create a safe password that is hard to figure out, but much easier for you to remember.
¡ñ You should use a different username and password for each login you¡¯re trying to protect. That way, if someone figures out one of your passwords, the others are still safe. Another approach, which is less safe, but provides a fair balance between security and convenience, is to use one username and password for sites and applications that don¡¯t need the extra security, but use unique usernames and more safe passwords on sites that require more security, such as your bank¡¯s website.
¡¾1¡¿How is a password made up of one¡¯s dog¡¯s name or birthdate?
A. It is safe and easy to remember.
B. It can get hacked easily by attackers.
C. It suits those who have a poor memory.
D. It is the most commonly used type of password.
¡¾2¡¿According to the article, what is a passphrase made up of?
A. Different character types.
B. A long dictionary word.
C. The title of a song or a poem.
D. The first letter from each word of a sentence.

A. jessica208.B. yr $ 1 Hes.

A. How to make your passwords safer.

The hardest thing in the world is saying yes to the world. Do you say yes to the world? Most of us have a habit of going through our days saying no to the things we don¡¯t like and yes to the things we like, and yet, everything we face is our life. We won¡¯t say yes to the things we do not like, because we are afraid that we will not remove them forever.
But in fact, it is only through accepting the existence(´æÔÚ) of what¡¯s not working for us that we can begin to change our ideas. When we say yes to the world, we begin to believe that whatever our situation is, we can work with it. We express belief in ourselves, and the world, and we also express a willingness to learn from whatever happens to us, rather than running and hiding when we don¡¯t like what we see. Therefore, in one word, saying yes is really good for our life.
The question we might ask ourselves is what it will take to get to the point of saying yes. For some of us, it takes dealing with something we can¡¯t run away from or refuse, and so we have no choice but to say yes. For others, they might make a decision to say yes to life no matter what happens to them. Saying yes to life might be difficult at first, and even painful at times, but if we continue to say yes to life, it will be far less difficult in the end. And we will find the joy of being in a positive(»ý¼«µÄ) talk to the world with a very powerful word ¡®yes¡¯. We should accept everything life puts in front of us.
Attitude towards life | Most of us are ¡¾1¡¿ to saying yes to what we like and saying no to what we don¡¯t like. |
The ¡¾2¡¿ of saying no | We are afraid that we can¡¯t remove what we don¡¯t like. |
Advantages of saying yes | We can begin to change our thoughts. We can work with our problem whatever it is. We can believe in ourselves and our world. We are ¡¾3¡¿ to learn from whatever happens to us. |
Conclusion | For us all, it will be much ¡¾4¡¿ to say yes to life if we keep doing so. ¡¾5¡¿ in life should be accepted whether we like it or not. |

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿ The French government will ban (½ûÖ¹) students from using mobile phones. Students in the country¡¯s primary schools and middle schools will be allowed to bring their phones to school, but not allowed to get them out at any time until they leave school.
Jean-Michel Blanquer, The French Education Minister, said the ban would come into effect (ÉúЧ) in October 2018.
¡°Some education organizations have already stopped pupils from using their mobiles,¡± Blanquer told RLT Radio, ¡°Sometimes you need mobiles for teaching reasons or special situations, but their use has to be controlled in some way.¡±
