Alice Liddell loved the story and she begged Carroll to write it down for her．After Carroll finished the manuscript of the sotry Alice's Adventures in Wonderland，he gave it to the girl as a Christmas present．When the book was published shod"in 1865．it was an immediate success，and soon was famous around the world．
