    There was a big drought(干旱) in southwest China in May, 2010. Most places got less rain than usual in Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Chongqing. People do not have enough water to live. Crops(庄稼) die before the harvest(收获).
    People from other places in China are giving help. Kids in different places give them water and money. Students at Yingcai Primary School in Haikou donate 2,512 bottles of water.
    Li Jiahang is a 2nd grade student at Huang Cheng Gen Primary School in Beijing. “There are 47 students in my class. We give our pocket money. We hope we can help the kids to drink clean water and buy things they need.”

    The keys to reaching or staying at a healthy weight are regular exercise and good eating habits. Teens should get 60 minutes or more of physical activity a day. Note the word “activity”. As long as you’re getting your body moving, it doesn’t have to mean doing difficult exercise or going to the sports hall every day.     “Everything happens for the best.” Whenever I faced disappointment, my mother would say this to me.
    After I graduated form college in 1932, I decided to find a job in radio as a sports announcer(广播员). I went to Chicago and knocked at the door of every station. But unluckily, I was refused every time.
    At one station, a kind lady told me that big stations wouldn’t hire(雇佣) a person without any experience and suggested that I try my luck at smaller stations.     Sales of laptop computers passed desktops in the U.S. for the first time ever this fall, according to market-research firm IDC. That's bad news for backs, necks and shoulders.
    Laptops are bad for our body. When you work at a computer, the keyboard should be at elbow height and the monitor should be roughly at eye level, so you can sit well in a chair.
