Xiao Lin’s mom bought him a telephone and Xiao Gang’s dad bought a laptop for him. They were very proud. Other students envied them very much. But I think it is not proper to compare with each other. The main task of students is studying. So their attention should be focused on study. Of course their parents can buy some gifts for the holiday, but I think the gift must be suitable for their children, such as books, school things, dictionaries and so on., which are good for them.
