Does one plastic straw really make a to ocean pollution? Artist Von Wong replies YES. He created a huge statue of plastic rubbish, warning visitors about their relationship single-use products.
The 10-foot-tall plastic waves 168,000 plastic straws, which were collected from cleanups. The statue was first on exhibition in the capital of Vietnam (越南).
Plastic straws have recently caused the public's worry most people no longer need them to drink with. They're too small and light to be recycled. Every straw of Von Wong's art works from a drink someone used for only once. When the drink is finished, the straw will take centuries to break down or disappear naturally.
Von Wong hopes that his art works of straw will help companies their plastic footprint.
