Born in a poor family,Qi Baishi made his living by selling pictures. At 14 he became a carpenter and learned to paint by himself. One of my favourites as a young girl was writing. I found that it was a great way to express what I was feeling. I actually wrote journals as early as my first grade. I find them amusing to look at now. I even read some to my son. I noticed that he actually started doing the same thing. He came to me the other day and wanted to read me a story he had written——Sponge Bob Square Pants.
As he sat there and read it aloud to me，it brought a big smile to my face， for I saw myself in him. Recently his school held auditions(试演) for a talent show and he was really interested in it. As the high school student,I like to talk with foreigners to practise my
oral English and learn more about other culture. There were two foreign
teachers in our school in this term. They often go to the English corner so that
they can have a chance to practise the language. I seize every chance talk with
them. However,I sometime find they are not so interested in which I say.
And it’s hard to me to choose a suitable topic. I would like some advices about
