    Last weekend we went mountain-climbing．Even the heavy rain in the morning could not prevent us go．Setting off very early, we went along an extreme narrow road, all in high spirits．On every side of the road were green fields and some farm house．We could hear the sound of the rain and our footsteps mixing with our laughter．At noon we reached top of the mountain．That surprised us most was the beauty of the scenes there．After having a short rest and sharing with the food we had brought, we started going down．It rained even harder．We are wet to the skin, and we still sang and laughed happily．

    It is over 3 year now since I began study English．At first I found it very difficult．I couldn't get most of the sounds right, spell the words correctly and remember the rules of the grammar．Under the help of my English teacher and classmates, I have made many progress．Now I am getting well with my English study．Three years' study have taught me that one can't learn English well without working hard．We should do more listening and speaking both in and out of the class．At the same time, we must pay enough attention to read as well as writing．Only on this way can we get the best result in the shortest time．

          Li Ling is the only one of the student in our class who have ever been to England. Last summer
    she is lucky to be sent there to study for three months. When she arrived in England by plane, she
    was picking up (接待)at the airport by the Johnson family, she would live with for the next few
    months.The family does everything they could to make Li Ling to feel at home. Li Ling began her
    study abroad at a middle school, where she met friends from all over world.
         She made fully use of every minute to practise her spoken English and was highly thought of by

         When I was ten years old, I went to Yangzhou with two American. I became their guide.
    First, we went to the Shouxi River. They wanted to look around the river by the boat. After
    buy the tickets, we got into a boat. We went around seeing the beautiful sight. After that, we
    went shopping. The sellers couldn't spoke English. Though it was very harder, I tried my best
    listen to their words carefully and translate the sentences. They bought some little things with
    their help. Next, we went to a small zoo but took some pictures. When we felt hunger, we
    went out and had lunch. After lunch, we visited some old house and learned more about Chinese
    history.

    Three years ago I became a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom，I found the teachers patiently and considerate. Beside, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided to make the best of it. I worked hardly and got along well my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they are always available. Soon, I became one of the top students in my classes, that greatly increased my confidence and I got more motivated. My experience tells me that it is not what you are given but how you make a use of it what determines who you are.
