I’m Li Hua, a student from Class 2, Grade 3. I’m writing to ask if I can volunteer for the English Festival. I’m confident that I wouldn’t let you down if given the position.

I would really like to be given the position because I have a strong desire to help out with the English Festival, which I think is a valuable opportunity for all students to practice their English.

My English ability has been described as “excellent” by my teachers and classmates, and I have been the head of the after-school English Club for two years. I have also been very active in encouraging students to take part in English activities at school, so I would be great at getting people involved.

I really hope that you will consider me for the role and I look forward to the challenge.
